Kelly Waddleton is an experienced video editor, cinematographer, and proud Jersey girl who loves both the rush of the city and the serenity of the shore.

 

In her current role as an Editor and GDC Operator for the National Basketball Association, Kelly conditions home, away, and national live feeds through the Game Distribution Center to NBA League Pass. As an editor, she creates relevant, high-quality content from the NBA and WNBA archive with daily and weekly turnarounds.

 

Kelly's passion for storytelling began early, which led to her undergraduate film studies at Pace University in Manhattan and studies at the University of Technology Sydney in Australia, where she lived for six months in 2022.

 

With a specialization in post-production, Kelly has professional experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and Avid Media Composer. She also works as a wedding cinematographer, utilizing professional Sony, DJI, and Ronin equipment to capture moments with a cinematic approach.

 

Whether she is working in live broadcasting or filming a wedding, Kelly brings the same philosophy to her work: the camera is only the beginning. The real value comes from knowing what to capture, how to tell the story, and what to create afterward.
